Google Maps London Gangs
Stumbled across this feature in google maps this week – the Capital’s gangs shown by area. Useful to know if you have to walk those unfamiliar London streets at night!
Learning Teeline
The books have been gathering dust on Writeous Dude’s shelf for the past couple of years but, in the spirit of self-improvement, I’ve finally decided to give Shorthand another go!

Teeline removes all unnecessary letters and makes use of contractions and abreviations. Even with a computer it’s surprising how often I put pen to paper. It probably won’t make me a better writer, but hopefully I’ll be more efficient. Plus the books are borrowed and I should really give them back!
London to Paris
Merci bien to my friend David for a fantastic weekend in Paris! A little local knowledge (and a car) goes a long way!
Here are some sightseeing pictures and also a couple of photos from the English language production of Alan Bennett’s ‘The Old Lady in the Van’ that I was fortunate enough to assist on whilst I was there.

FA Cup Weekend
Round 4 of the FA Cup this weekend and Spurs V Leeds brings back some painful memories.
February 1999 and Leeds are flying high when sod’s law sees George Graham’s Tottenham drawn in round 5. He had left Leeds for Spurs the previous October.
To my friend’s house (Sky Sports), confident of victory. Very confident until this happened…
It didn’t last for George Graham. He never beat Leeds again and was sacked in 2001 : )
